Are you seeing possibilities or are you being held back by limitations?

I'm not going to lie.

I have been very fortunate in life that because of the challenges I experienced in my childhood, I made a decision very early on to live the best life I could and to always look for possibilities and opportunities.

I say fortunate, because there was not a defining moment where this particular epiphany hit me.

I just cannot remember a time in my life when I didn't feel this way.

Don't get me wrong, I've had way more than my fair share of shitstorms in the 46 years I have been on this earth.

There have been many, many times I have begged the universe to just 'seriously give me a friggin' break' and have wondered if I did something really bad in a previous life.

But each time I have been knocked down, I have allowed myself a small pity party and then I have made the decision to get back up and begin to work out what possibility lies ahead.

How can I draw something positive out of this giant pile of shite?

What was the lesson I needed to learn here?

What can I learn from this that I can use in the future?

How can I turn this negative into something meaningful, useful and impactful?

I'm not saying its been easy, but I know that staying stuck in a place of limitation and negativity can have such dire consequences, ones which I just don't want.

I know that within me is the power to shift my mindset from one of limitation to possibility and that is a much nicer place to hang out!

In life, it's easy to get caught up in the limitations that we perceive. We may see roadblocks and obstacles that seem insurmountable, and we may convince ourselves that certain things are not possible. But what if we changed our perspective and instead saw possibilities in every situation?

One of the keys to seeing possibilities instead of limitations is to shift your mindset. Instead of focusing on what you can't do, focus on what you can do. Instead of dwelling on the things that are holding you back, think about the things that can propel you forward. When you change your mindset, you change your reality.

Another key to seeing possibilities is to take action. Often, we get stuck in a state of inaction because we feel overwhelmed or uncertain about what to do next. But if you take one small step forward, even if it's just an experiment, it can open up a world of possibilities.

It's also important to surround yourself with people who see possibilities in life. Surround yourself with people who are positive and encouraging, who inspire you to think big, and who challenge you to step out of your comfort zone. Being around these people will make you feel more confident and empowered to take on new challenges.

Another way to see possibilities is to be open to learning new things, try new things and be open to new experiences. When you are open to learning and growing, new opportunities will present themselves to you.

Additionally, it's important to have a clear vision of what you want to achieve. When you have a clear idea of what you want, you can set your sights on it and work towards it. This can help you focus on the possibilities and not the limitations.

Finally, Remember that seeing possibilities instead of limitations is a choice. It's a choice that you make every day, and it's a choice that can change your life. When you start to see possibilities instead of limitations, you open yourself up to new opportunities and experiences, and you can achieve things that you never thought possible.

In conclusion, seeing possibilities instead of limitations is not a one-time event, it's a mindset that we need to cultivate and practice daily. It takes effort, but it's worth it, because the reward is a life full of opportunities and possibilities.
